Artist’s Consultations
Pennylane offers individualized consultations that consist of a review of your work, an initial critique and discussion, suggestions and guidance in a particular direction and a consultation summary (sent after the consultation). Each session is approximately 90 minutes long.
Fee: 2013 rates are $80 per introductory session. Payment is required at the beginning of the session. If the work requires further critique, artists are encouraged to schedule another session in 2-3 months time.

Prior to your session: Please have any questions regarding your work and/or the art industry prepared. Once your consultation has been scheduled, submit a brief outline of the goals you are hoping to reach through your work in the short and long term. As well, please include an example of your work (jpeg format or link to your website) and any particular artists you admire or are influenced by.
Pennylane Shen’s consultations have benefited me both in terms of developing artistic ideas, and setting out career goals. She offers honest, specific feedback, relevant tips on other artists’ work to look at, and a seasoned perspective on the art world.
